As the freezing weather leaves us, jackets replace tank tops, real shoes replace flip-flops. My summer wardrobe is so much more inspired now and fun than before. I only like to wear plain tank tops with Capri pants or short, but this summer that’s about to change. I bought a lot of summer outfits during my vacation in the Philippines Last September and I am so excited to be able to wear them this summer. I am planning to do more shopping for maxi dress and jumpsuits  too since this type of dress are in for this season. I have discovered that I am more inspired to wear colorful dresses than just plain tank tops and shorts. Below are the photos of me wearing my simple summer outfits. Obviously it tells you that I love tank tops and shorts Lol!

Mother’s Day is just over but here comes fathers day and I am not still sure if I’m going to give papa Kevin a gps handheld garmin. Every time we go to some places we have to stop and ask people because he is unsure where to go or he forgets the direction but he don’t admit it. I told him many times that it is necessary for him to have one even if he don”t agree with us that it is a must to have when traveling. He said that he got by just fine for decades with just a paper map, a vague memory, or a mystical sense of direction using the sun’s location and wind direction, and never needed any technology to help him locate the places that he go. Hmm! If mom and me will decide to buy him a gps for father’s day I doubt it if he is going to like it but Hopefully he will appreciate and will keep it:)

Mom has been convincing Papa Kevin that its about to replace our old ugly looking carpet here in the house. She really like to rip off all the carpets here and change it to a wood floorings, though a real wood flooring would be very expensive and that is out of the budget. Mom thinks that a real pergo flooring would be a good idea since it’s cheaper than a real wood flooring. It is also manageable, easy to clean and will definitely look awesome! Well, I wish mom a lot of luck to make papa Kevin say yes to her suggestion.

I bought this Welch’s Fruit Snacks the other day when we drove by to Hannaford  after work.  I somehow regretting of choosing this snack because its like gummy bear and it’s too sugary, it’s unhealthy I would say. I thought this is a mix of dried fruits.  I bought this snacks purposely for me to have something to munch while I’m at work. I am doing my very best to avoid eating junks and choose of eating healthy foods instead.  I believe being careful of what I eat does matter and eating either fresh or dried fruits is really good, especially in the morning since I am not a breakfast person.

I am really excited to get my camera but it turned out that I am short on my budget. Well, only a few hundred dollars more. When the parents and I went to best buy to purchase the DSLR that I have been wanting to own for 3 years, I got so disappointed that my money is short Lol! I don’t want to purchase the camera with out the 3 year insurance cause it’s an expensive camera and I don’t want to take chances in case it gets damage.

Anyhow, I tried to talk to my mom if she could lend me some money for it but she answered a big NO lol! I even convinced her that maybe when I have the camera I could start earning extra bucks by starting a small business like making calendars out of the landscape pictures that I am going to take using my camera, or we could start a post card business printing just like the printdirectforless postcard printing but I did not get lucky of convincing her. Perhaps I really have to wait till June to have the dslr camera in my hands:( Too bad! Dang! I am so excited…though I am hoping that I’ll be able to have the camera before the Fil-Am community picnic.

In A quest to lose weight fast, it really needs a lot of hard work. We can’t get to lose weight when we just sit in the corner and do nothing, right? My new co-worker who just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl has been asking me how I maintained my weight. I told her that I am not really on a diet, in  fact I  eat more than a big plate of rice  every meal and I still never gain weight and definately I am not taking those best fat burners that you see on TV. However I do some exercise but not often, just whenever I feel like to. I advise my co-worker that she needs to get one of those hula hoops and start using it. Even though she’s at work most of the time she can still do some exercise using the hula hoops while watching tv because she can’t just take any diet pills while nursing her new born baby.
