Going Away for a While…

I decided last year to quit my job and go on a 6 month mission trip to Uganda…I know, it sounds crazy but I really felt called to do something big. Anyway, it was a really big production getting ready to leave and since I was going to be gone for so long I had to find people to take care of certain things. I went toHttp://Www.HomeSecurity101.Com to get the house covered and I talked to my best friend Jim and his wife Mandy about keeping my dog for me. I spoke with my parents about things like bills and mortgage and where they could find my money and I was all set to go! Packing was another story and took me about three weeks when it was said and done but I went on the trip and had the most life-changing experience ever. I’ve been back now for three weeks and wouldn’t you know it, I’m already planning another mission trip in the winter to somewhere in Mexico!

I felt bad that I missed the last week girls talk meme.Nevertheless, this week I make sure that I have some time to join the birthday wish meme. Every year, my friends and family try to decide what to give me for my birthday and while I always appreciate the gifts and the fact that they are thinking of me, this year only Uncle SAM can grant my wish. I will be celebrating my birthday in two weeks time, and I have so many things I want for my birthday, but the most one that I would really love is that hoping uncle SAM would speed up the process of getting my brother here in the US. I am very close to my brother, and I miss him so much! We filed his petition for about 1 and half year now, and until now we are still waiting. The last time we received a note from them is when they gave us a case number for my brother’s petition. After that the long wait is begun. I have been wishing to be able to celebrate my birthday again with two of my siblings here in my mom’s abode, together with our friends and family just like before when we were young. Oh! How I miss those times when we don’t have so much food in our table to celebrate our birthdays, but we were complete as one family. I though hope that next year he will be here with us to celebrate my birthday.

One thing I hate the most is checking for rv insurance quote. I hate going through all the troubles looking for insurance rate information or comparing rates, to me it is very hassle coz it can take lot of my time. My sister left a voice mail message last night and asking me to check for a cheaper RV insurance.

When I left Louisiana, I told my sister that I want them to take care of the RV for they will need it every time they go fishing. But I want them to maintain the monthly obligation such as, electric bill, lot rent and most especially the insurance for the RV. I don’t want to sell it cause I see that they will be needing it, even though I need money at that time. Now sissy didn’t want to pay for the insurance because it went up. She wanted me to find a cheaper one since I am the owner. Argh! I hate doing like this eh!

I really don’t know what to do to all my books that has been stuck in the other bedroom. When I moved here in NY 3 years ago I brought a box of books. I couldn’t leave them in Louisiana. I use to read a lot when I was still in Louisiana but my situation is different now since I am working, although I still love to read, only when I have extra time. When I found out that one of the bookstore in Poughkeepsie was selling their books for a very low price because they are about to close, I couldn’t hesitate myself not to buy the books that my cousin referred. Now my books are every where and they take a lot of space here in my room. I think it’s time for me to change. I suppose a kobo wireless ereader would be a great choice for me to stay up to date with the latest New York Times bestsellers–digitally! And importantly to avoid adding a bulky heave books in my room that only takes so much space. An electronic eReader is a lot convenient for me especially when I’m travelling. Yay! perhaps I can get this for my birthday? hmmm! think! think!

Last night when we got home from the party I start digging out all my bikini’s in my luggage where I usually keep them ever winter. When I tried on some of my bikini’s OMG! I feel so embarrass looking at myself in the mirror because I really look awful:(. I look like a big bottle of bear with a big stomach, thin legs and arms Yikes! How I wish taking the best diet pills can really help me lose these belly fats in an instant, just like magic:) But I know that’s impossible!

My Gosh! I have been partying since Wednesday and still more are coming! I don’t know how to handle it anymore Lol! I receives few Nursing School Graduation Invitations last week. A filipina friend whom I just meet a month ago sent me a graduation invitation party And mom’s Filipina friend invited us to go to her son’s graduation party at her house this Sunday. I’m sure all those filipino’s that I’ve meet are going to be there too! Mom likes to join or attend a party like this because she wont get bored and of course there will be sumptuous of Filipino foods. I just hope though that I’ll still have an energy to attend all these parties especially that I also have 6 days straight of work.
